Abstract. The projection of a data system is an activity that supposes the use of financial, human and material resources in a large period of time. This action supposes going through a large number of activities having a marked creative nature such as: system analysis, projection, schedule and implementation. In this paper we present the SSADM methodology of implementation of data systems in the government institutions, as a process implying the efficient use of resources all along the stages of implementation.
