Abstract. As it is known, the expert systems- particularly referring to the ones in the economical area, represent a current issue of our days, them being approached by all the economical branches. Starting from these aspects, we wish to present some necessary principles and considerations regarding the expert systems, representation of the facts, systems based on production rules. The objective of this paper is aimed to identifying the exigencies of the production system based on rules.
